Description

Folate or folic acid is water soluble vitamin functioning in the body as coentzyme for metabolism of amino acids and nucleotids. Sum of folates in Fineli is calculated from folic acid and several folate compounds. Good sources for folates are fresh vegetables, fruit and berries, beans, whole grains and liver. The deficient intake of folates may cause megaloblastic anaemia.
