Fructose
DescriptionFructose, so called fruit sugar, is a simple sugar (monosaccharide) with same energy value as sucrose, plain sugar. Fructose raises blood sugar slower than sucrose. Together with another monosaccharide, glucose, fructose yields sucrose. There is plenty of fructose in both fruit and berries. |
